The lake is famous for its abundant fish, and the Sockeye Salmon are a major highlight, especially during their peak season. You'll have the chance to reel in a variety of species, including; Sockeye Salmon, Grayling, Northern Pike, and Trout.

Schedule and Accommodations
August 6-10, 2026
Day 1 Arrival:
Arriving by air taxi Thursday in the afternoon (Air taxi is not included in the trip price), - The lodge will pick you up at the airplane, drive down to the bay of Port Alsworth, and bring your group across the lake to the lodge by boat
Dinner at 6:00pm
Kayaking, wood burning hot tub and sauna available after dinner each night
Day 2 - 4:
Buffet breakfast in the dining hall at 7:00 am
8-8:30 am leave for fishing. Lunch served at noon on a beach. 4:30pm return to the lodge. 6:00 pm Dinner served in the dining hall.
Day 5:
Buffet breakfast at 7:00 or 8:00 am
We then bring you across to meet the plane, depending on the flight timing back to Anchorage.

Cancellation / refund policy: 50% of trip cost due at time of booking, last 50% of trip cost due 60 days prior to the trip date. Should you cancel your trip, a refund will be made only if your space can be filled, minus a 10% service charge. We make no refunds nor assume any additional expenses if weather or any reason beyond our control renders you unable to complete a trip or any other part of an itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel a trip because of low enrollment or other circumstances and will refund all funds paid to us in such a case.
