Schedule and Accommodations

July 25th - 29th, 2024

Day 1:

Arrive in Seward that afternoon/evening to meet the rest of the group and get settled in at Pacific Heights Lodging hosted by Alaska Saltwater Flyfishing.

After the group has settled in, we will head out for dinner in Seward, AK.

Day 2:

Fishing begins early in Seward with a day on picturesque Resurrection Bay. From a chartered boat with an experienced captain, we will fish for halibut and silver salmon on fly rods. Yes. That’s right. Fly rods!  These waters hold a bounty of fish, and you never know what will be on the end of your line.  We target halibut and silver salmon but don’t be surprised if we catch ling cod, black cod and rock fish - and see a few whales, sea lions, otters, puffins and who knows? 

We return early enough to enjoy a relaxed afternoon and dinner in Seward - a historic town with plenty to see and do.  Meanwhile, your catch is packed and flash frozen. 

That evening we move to Cooper Landing to be ready for the next adventure. Our lodging is a modern cabin right on the Kenai River. 

Day 3:

We will be drift boat fly-fishing on the Upper Kenai River, a world famous waterway known for its brilliant turquoise color and rich biodiversity.  Rainbow trout will be our goal for catch-and-release fishing.

Day 4:

Today we board float planes to fly to a remote mountain lake to fish for grayling, the sailfish of the north. This will be a super day of guided fishing from float tubes.  We catch and release these fish completing our third jewel in this Triple-Crown adventure.

Day 5:

Early breakfast with the group before checkout, and reminisce about the amazing weekend. We will then depart the lodge and head home.

Package Rates

$3,700 / Person

Length of Stay: 4 nights lodging, 3 days of fishing

Includes: 3 days of fishing, 4 nights lodging, Breakfast/Lunch, Fly-fishing equipment; flies, reels, etc.

Does not include: Waders, Wading Boots, Alaska Fishing License, Dinners, Transportation to each destination, and gratuities for guides.

Cancellation / refund policy: 50% of trip cost due at time of booking, last 50% of trip cost due 60 days prior to the trip date. Should you cancel your trip, a refund will be made only if your space can be filled, minus a 10% service charge. We make no refunds nor assume any additional expenses if weather or any reason beyond our control renders you unable to complete a trip or any other part of an itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel a trip because of low enrollment or other circumstances and will refund all funds paid to us in such a case.
