The Fish Ranch

Fishing

The Fish Ranch operates their trips from April through November, during peak Roosterfish season, but you can also fish for Dorado, Tuna, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, Yellowtail, Triggerfish, Grouper, Ladyfish, and Sierra depending on the season. Most fishing will be done on a 20-24 ft. panga, but there are also options for shore or SUP fishing. A 10-weight rod is the most versatile choice, but anything from an 8-12 weight can work here. 

Accommodations

You will stay at a beachfront villa, just outside of La Ventana. The villa is situated on a mostly undeveloped, miles-long beach with great beach fishing. Features of the villa include a pool, palapa, and fire pit. All meals are included and feature a range of delicacies from yellowtail sashimi to homemade gnocchi. Breakfasts will be grab-and-go before fishing, while lunches will be on the boat or beach.

Cancellation / refund policy: A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due 75 days prior to the trip start date. All deposits and payments are nonrefundable. Travel insurance is the only way to be compensated in the event of a cancelled trip. We recommend Global Rescue trip evacuation insurance.
