Schedule and Accommodations

July 12th - 14th, 2024

Day 1:

• First Night - Tangle Lakes hospitality meet and greet. Get to know fellow anglers and instructors.

• Relax after the drive with a social hour and dinner at the lodge.

Day 2:

• Begins with a hearty lodge breakfast.

• Fly fish instruction stars with an overview of gear and knots. We will talk about Flies and Fly selection.

• We will do a bit of fishing in the morning to try out our new skills.

• After lunch at the lodge, we will head out for river fishing between the lakes. While out on the river we will do some one-on-one coaching to help with casting.

• In the later afternoon we will relax around the cabins and have a nice dinner at the lodge.

• After dinner, we will have a mini lesson and tie a few flies that are sure to attract grayling.

• In the late evening we will go back to the river in hopes there is a hatch. With the midnight Sun, we can fish late into the evening hours.

Day 3:

• Breakfast at the lodge

• Morning float tube fishing around Tangle Lake for a bit of true “on the water” angling. This is an opportunity to really put those skills to test.

• We will return to the lodge for lunch before it is time for farewells and preparation for the drive home.

Package Rates

$1,250 / Person

Length of Stay: 1 & 1/2 days of fishing, 2 nights lodging

Includes: 1 & 1/2 days of lessons and fishing, 2 nights of lodging, double occupancy, shared private bathroom and showers, Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner at the lodge, Fly fishing equipment; flies, reels, etc.

Does not include: Waders, Wading Boots, Alaska Fishing License, Transportation to Lodge.

Cancellation / refund policy: 50% of trip cost due at time of booking, last 50% of trip cost due 60 days prior to the trip date. Should you cancel your trip, a refund will be made only if your space can be filled, minus a 10% service charge. We make no refunds nor assume any additional expenses if weather or any reason beyond our control renders you unable to complete a trip or any other part of an itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel a trip because of low enrollment or other circumstances and will refund all funds paid to us in such a case.
