Join us for a fly fishing retreat based in the heart of Big Sky Country in Wolf Creek, Montana. This five-night, five-day fishing experience is designed to inspire confidence, connection, and joy—on and off the water. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to the sport, this trip offers expert-guided days on three of Montana’s most iconic rivers:

The Blackfoot River – Famous for its wild beauty and spirited trout, made legendary in A River Runs Through It.

The Missouri River – One of the West’s premier tailwaters, teeming with healthy populations of big browns and rainbows.

Land of the Giants – Jet-boat into this mythical stretch of water where monster trout await.

Schedule and Accommodations

July 23-26, 2026

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome

  • 4:00 PM: Arrive at Hidden Canyon Lodge and check in.

  • Settle into your accommodations and get ready for the trip.

  • Evening: Join the group for happy hour with appetizers, followed by a delicious dinner at the lodge.

Day 2 & 3: Full Days of Fishing

  • Morning: Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge.

  • Head out for a full day of guided fishing.

  • Lunch: Enjoy a riverside lunch to refuel before continuing to fish.

  • Late Afternoon: Return to the lodge for happy hour and appetizers.

  • 6:30 PM: Gather for dinner at the lodge.

Day 4: Final Day & Departure

  • Morning: Enjoy a final early breakfast at the lodge.

  • Check out of your room and gather your belongings.

  • Head out for one last full day of fishing on the river.

  • Lunch: A final riverside lunch is provided.

  • Afternoon: Continue fishing for a bit longer before heading back to your vehicles.

  • Say your goodbyes and begin your journey home.

Cancellation / refund policy: 50% of trip cost due at time of booking, last 50% of trip cost due 60 days prior to the trip date. Should you cancel your trip, a refund will be made only if your space can be filled, minus a 10% service charge. We make no refunds nor assume any additional expenses if weather or any reason beyond our control renders you unable to complete a trip or any other part of an itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel a trip because of low enrollment or other circumstances and will refund all funds paid to us in such a case.

Travel

Closest major air hub: Closest Major air hub: The closest airports are Great Falls International Airport (GTF) and Helena Regional Airport (HLN), which are approximately 30-40 minutes drive away. Many guests also fly into Missoula International Airport (MSO) and Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), which are both slightly over 2 hours away.

Trip Cancellation Insurance: We recommend that you acquire trip cancellation insurance and/or purchase Global Rescue trip evacuation insurance.

Documents: You will need to purchase or have a current, active Montana Fishing License and have appropriate photo identification for airline travel.
