Bear Trail Lodge
Bear Trail Lodge is an all-inclusive fishing and wilderness retreat. With spectacular access to the Naknek River, they offer world-class guided fishing for salmon, trout, Arctic char, and grayling, depending on the season. They’ve been family-owned and operated since their beginnings in 1985 located in King Salmon, AK.
Fishing
The season at Bear Trail Lodge starts in June and ends in October. The target species vary based on the time of the year, with Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, and Grayling around during the entire season. All five species of pacific salmon come through this area, at various times in the summer. Bear Trail Lodge is extremely flexible about the type of fishing their clients can do, and your guide will help you fish in whichever way you’d like. They offer fishing access by boat, or through fly-outs to nearby streams. In addition to fishing, Bear Trail Lodge offers other excursions including hiking and wildlife viewing at Brooks Falls.
Accommodations
Bear Trail Lodge’s luxury accommodations include a main lodge and a series of guest cabins connected by a boardwalk. Guests will meet in the stunning cedar lodge for gourmet meals or to relax in the living room or sunroom. The guest cabins are spacious, with views of the river. Each guest cabin includes its own private bathroom and daily housekeeping services.
